The Walkin Through the Reality project proposed by Lorenzo Bittini and Emanuele Pagni concerns a series of 10 photographic takes made in the streets of various cities in the world and stamped on wood (about 70x100 cm).
Each photograph was taken to hit images of places in significant moments, thus showing graphically the feeling and/or the emotion inside the reality frozen by the camera and developed by the use of colours, black and white, lightings, dyes and grains that remind to film photography.
Pictorial interventions were made on these photographs using different techniques and materials that intend to express the search and the impulse to find and to show, in a kind of 4th dimension - the intermediate universe that finds place in the human emotions.
Transporting such pictorial elements in different parts of the world is also a reflection on that thin physical and meta-physical line that links form and substance of modern existence in each part of the globe.
The one who looks is thus invited to perceive sensations, freely converging his senses in each depicted place towards the first felt emotion.
With these painted photographs the authors aim, and consequently the aim of these works observers, is to give life to a meeting between reportage photojournalism, the pure artistic photograph and the metaphysical painting, in an union that energetically moves the first human impulse towards a sort of autonomous thought.
Each feeling compels to hope.
